Overview
A trek in Morocco is a no-brainer. You don't have to be a great sportsman to do it. You just need to feel good physically. Our experience in the field means that we can take into account everyone's physical condition, making this type of experience accessible to as many people as possible.
Day 1:
In the morning, departure from M'hamid with our camel drivers and their dromedaries as we make our way through desert landscapes. We'll have a picnic in the shade of this wilderness. We'll take some time to rest before setting off again for the tomb of the Marabout of Sidi Naji. We will then set up our bivouac. This will be a special time to recharge your batteries in harmony with nature. You'll find that you won't miss your hotel!
If you wish, you can spend the night under the stars or in a tent.
Day 2 :
Departure in the morning for the crossing of a Hamada (high plateau) before leading to theerg Ez-Zahar. Considered to be the most beautiful dunes in the region, the dunes of this erg fascinate with their peaks dominating the desert. It's at the foot of these dunes that we'll set up camp. They are also known as the "howling dunes" because, under certain wind conditions, the movement of the sand on their surface produces an astonishing noise. We can climb one of them to watch the magnificent sunset...
Day 3 :
Departure for the small dunes of theerg Ait Ounir where we will bivouac. This day's walk, punctuated by a picnic and a rest period, will allow you to enjoy the variety of landscapes to be found in the desert.
Day 4 :
Departure in the morning to ride along the desert plains. Picnic and rest at mid-day, arriving late afternoon at the locality of Douib where we'll be setting up our bivouac for the last time, which is such a special and privileged moment...
Day 5 :
There will still be a short walk to reach M'Hamid. This will be a chance to enjoy the silence of the desert again, disturbed only by the sound of footsteps. What a feeling of serenity at that moment! When you arrive, you'll feel rejuvenated by this original experience.
